A Passion for Travel
Through my jobs as an investment banker and consultant, I have been very fortunate to travel around the world. To date, I have been to 58 countries outside the United States. Wonderful places like Marrakech, Luang Prabang, Nairobi and all over Europe. Most recently, I was in Berlin, Budapest, Prague and the lovely Wachau valley in Austria. I have also been all over the United States. During these travels, while immensely enjoying myself, I have found lots of wonderful restaurants, hotels and activities.

La Bastide de Gordes, Gordes, France
Spectacular views of the Luberon Valley, wonderful service and the restaurants are world class.
Four Seasons Resort at Sayan, Bali, Indonesia
This is one of the most amazing hotel buildings in the world and it is placed beautifully along the Ayung River in Ubud, Bali.
Taj Campton Place, San Francisco, CA
It is the service that sets this hotel apart, friendly, thorough and expert. Of course, Campton Place, the Michelin starred restaurant serving Cal-Indian cuisine, does not hurt. Amazing combination of great ingredients, traditional technique and Indian sauces.
Upcoming Group Trip
Provence, France - 2020 (Dates TBD)
I will be organizing a small group tour to Provence in the first half of 2020. The focus will be on the wonderful food, wine and scenery of this delightful region of France. Details to come, so check back soon.

Rasika West Restaurant in Washington, DC
Delicious modern take on Indian cuisine. I had the tasting menu with wine pairings. The fried spinach is justifiably famous. Wow! Also, the wine pairings were thoughtful and delicious. Matching wine to Indian food can be a challenge and they handled it superbly.
